I haven't seen any, but check to make sure the relevant county or city hasn't enacted something in addition to state and federal restrictions.

The Federal CARES Act only applies to mortgages backed by Federal insurance (Fannie Mae, etc.) so shouldn't apply to seller financing as in an RE contract.

If it's farmland, I don't know if there are any protections applicable specifically to family farms or the like.

Sincerely,

Eric

Colleagues,

I am helping a friend prepare a view easement (at no charge) and wondering whether anyone has a form they would be willing to share?

Thank you in advance,

Attached in Word format is a form of view easement creating a view corridor to the water.  This may of course be modified if the view being preserved is of the mountains, river,  or is a territorial view.  Please feel free to use or alter as you wish, and note that the legal descriptions of the properties are referenced as exhibits, as well as a legal description of the view corridor.  I also like to include a map of the benefitted and burdened properties and the location of the view easement as an illustrative exhibit, and this is referenced in the form attached.  Hope this is helpful.

Dear Listmates, I have a client who has a squatter problem in a house he bought to remodel.  Electricity has been turned off, the police went to the house at client?s request and the squatter who had no ID claimed she had been paying rent to someone and so the police took no action.  Does anyone know someone who works in this area, and can navigate the governor?s eviction moratorium?  Thank you.  Yours truly, Doug Owens
