[WSBAPT] Family member wont leave home -- hoarder, stealing rents, selling metals

Hi Dalynne,

I did just hear about a landlord who gave a significant loan to a bad
tenant to move out, with the expectation it wouldn't necessarily be paid
back.  This let the tenant move out and perhaps attend rehab--the tenant
has gotten his life back together now, several years down the road.

Obviously what works in one case may not in another, and the estate context
and whether the Administrator/brother has the resources or desire to try
this independently may make it impractical in your case.  That being said,
treating the delinquent heir as a squatter as suggested does not prevent
the Administrator/brother from offering to help the delinquent heir with
rent for a month or two if there is concern about preserving the
relationship.
