[Vision2020] Proposal: Change Listserv Name

Wow and good morning to all the V-peeps! Must be the heat and smoke making
you folks cranky and crazy.

I've obviously missed a ton of reading over the weekend...most of which
includes multiple posts about "changing the name" of the LISTSERVE. A time
back, folks used to take the extended ninny-nit-picking-nuanced discussions
off-list and among those who were interested.

I'd rather read (or at least have an opportunity to read) a variety of
topics - and if only one member is taking the time to post such things,
then fine. IMHO, that is preferable to seeing a non-stop string of whining
with very little variation in the whine about a single topic.

This group ebbs and flows, but how about returning to the intelligent
discussions, and fluffernutter ones, too, concerning all sorts of things.
I especially love seeing the Moscow/Latah/Palouse-centric stuff - doesn't
matter to me it if is news, politics, opinion, color, interest, recipes,
photos, whatever...

Please don't destroy a valuable connection here, by one or two of you
unhappy with certain posts. I've found that most of us are open to a bit
of construction criticism and then self-censor when approached off-line.
Let's remember our manners, not just the rules alone.

Now, off to wage a war of words in a different county!
