FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Transportation department to hold open houses on pedestrian curb ramps
BOISE - The Idaho Transportation Department is holding two open houses
in northern Idaho to help develop a transition plan for pedestrian curb
ramps in the public right-of-way.
The transition plan, required by the Americans with Disabilities Act,
will identify and prioritize needed ADA improvements along state
roadways across Idaho. As part of this effort, an open house meeting is
being held to collect public comment on the priority of needed ADA
improvements in the Moscow area. The open house will be Wednesday, July
29, 2009, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall, 206 E. 3rd Street, Moscow.
A short presentation will be given at 6 p.m.
