Folks,

First, I hope all of you and your family and colleagues are staying healthy amidst this health crisis.

As we all do our part to "flatten the curve" and stay busy, we hope you all can join us for our upcoming Insurance & Surety Committee Meeting conference call.  It is scheduled for Monday, April 20, 2020 - beginning at Noon (Eastern).  And we are all in luck, because we have a great presentation lined up for you from one of our own: Debbie Crocket, who is an attorney with Cheffy Passidomo, P.A. out of there Tampa office.  She will be discussing the question of "Is there Business Interruption/Loss of Income Coverage for COVID-19?"  During that presentation, Debbie will provide an examination of business interruption coverage, lawsuits around the country, arguments for and against coverage, and pending legislation.  As most of you already know, Debbie is extremely well versed in dense forest of insurance law, especially when it comes to coverage matters, and she is also a very engaging and informative speaker!

Attached for Monday's call are the following: (1) the agenda for Monday's meeting; (2) meeting minutes from our March 16, 2020 joint meeting with the CLC; and (3) a PDF of Debbie's PowerPoint for the CLE Presentation.  Additionally, we are also very happy and grateful to announce that Debbie will be utilizing a Zoom Meeting in addition to our call-in line this Monday.
