Hopefully everyone has seen Liberty Upton's email.

I want to break down what will happen if the bill is passed as amended.

1) Tax rates revert to what they were - max is 20%
2) Exemption goes back to $2.193 million
3) Exemption will say it is indexed every year but because the law will
reference a report that doesn't exist, it WILL NOT BE INDEXED and remain at
$2.193

In essence, we will be in the same place we were on January 1, 2025, which
is where we had been since January 1, 2018.

Unfortunately, there is no time to run an effort to collect signatures. I
am between meetings and then heading to the airport and this action by the
legislature is HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. They are literally getting a whip
count of votes as we speak.

If you want to voice your concerns, PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL THEIR
OFFICE.
