[WSBARP] Heir Refuses to Disclose Address

Please reply to the list.  I have a similar situation where the heir is a couch surfer whom we can not find to inform him about his grandmother's probate.  Not only that but based on prior actions, the family have a protection order against the heir (violent attacks against family members).  Due to circumstances of the probate (heir is getting cut out), we really need to get notice to the heir so we can get the fight started, if there is going to be one.   The sheriff is unable to find the heir to serve.  Are there any alternative methods of serve of the notice of pendency of probate?

When an Heir refuses to disclose a mailing address (and you can't otherwise locate them), how do you affect service?  Is probate publication sufficient or should you seek a separate order allowing for alternate service via probate?
