I'm not sure a deed is required, because it's not the trustee in title,
it's the trust. Can you record a notice of resignation of trustee and
appointment of successor trustee?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong because I recently went through
this on some family trust property. My mother was the trustee under a
will from 1994, and with her passing my brother and I are now successor
trustees. Kitsap County is refusing to change the billing name from my
mother as trustee, but is willing to send duplicate tax statements. I
figure that's good enough given the fact that when we list the title
company is recognizing my brother and I as trustees. And the owner
remains the same--Trust under will of . . ..
