[WSBARP] Refusal to Provide Payoff

Assuming the sale is not a private sale without title insurance, escrow, etc., and assuming the judgment was recorded in the county in which the property is located, escrow will not close without providing for dealing with the judgment.  If you know of the sale, contact the realtor to get the name of the escrow, if the judgment debtor will not provide the information.

Former spouse received a judgment for his interest in former marital home.  House is in closing, but former spouse refuses to provide a payoff amount for the judgment. Is attempting to extort further concessions.
