[WSBAPT] Claim Againt Financial Institution

Decedent executed a Will, sent a copy to financial institution, and requested to change her beneficiaries on her account to align with the Will.  Financial institution representative never responded.  Decedent died 11 days later, with previous beneficiaries on the account.  We later discovered that the financial representative had been on vacation.  By failing to respond to decedent, approximately $250,000 in decedent's account went to beneficiaries that she no longer wanted to inherit.

The Personal Representative of decedent's estate would like to discuss with a knowledgeable attorney to get an opinion regarding whether there is a viable claim against the financial institution.
