Hi Sarah,

Thanks for the share.  Based on the ask, it seems that if she has the
Letters Testamentary or Administration, her bank will process it upon
presentation. So while probate is more expensive, I don't think there'd be
much of a delay.

As a side note, if I initiate probate, I always encourage my client to
allow me to file a notice to creditors (assuming a nonprobate notice to
creditors has not already been filed).  The cost is relatively small and I
have been glad I have done it more than once.
