Based on the ask, it seems that if she has the Letters Testamentary or Administration, her bank will process it upon presentation. So while probate is more expensive, I don't think there'd be much of a delay. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large">As a side note, if I initiate probate, I always encourage my client to allow me to file a notice to creditors (assuming a nonprobate notice to creditors has not already been filed).
