Dalynne,

I know you already received a response but I just wanted to add that I would think the transferring bank would require an order given it's a blocked account with them. It seems, even with transfers that shouldn't need a court order for a transfer, financial institutions look for one at just about every turn. Can be so frustrating.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Blocked account for minor moved to another blocked account

I have a former client and a GAL was appointed and assisted with the settlement monies into a blocked account.
The father, my client, wants to move from one blocked account to another for better returns. Does one need a court order for this or can the two institutions move the monies w/o any order?
