Hi Listmates -
Shortly after PR closed estate via Declaration of Completion, he discovered that decedent was owed money from an unrelated person based on small loans over a few years that, by the time of Decedent's death, totaled approximately $25k.  Decedent had not disclosed the loans to family but maintained a ledger showing disbursements and a few incoming repayments.  PR wants to pursue collection from the debtor.  Should we reopen the probate to pursue action on behalf of the estate?  Is there another way?  Debtor denies the loans of course, claiming the disbursements were gifts.  Thanks for your thoughts.
