Decedent had not disclosed the loans to family but maintained a ledger showing disbursements and a few incoming repayments. PR wants to pursue collection from the debtor. Should we reopen the probate to pursue action on behalf of the estate? Is there another way? Debtor denies the loans of course, claiming the disbursements were gifts.
