[WSBAPT] body disposal

No, it has not been challenged to my knowledge. It is similar to clauses
found in funeral home contracts, insulating the funeral home from costs of
carrying out the disposition, and having liability rest in the estate and
family per RCW 68.50.160. If you have a more artful way of saying it,
please share.

Mr. Toner, has this form ever been challenged? I am concerned with
paragraph #7. Why would a potential PR agree to defend the form at their
sole expense? Plus, how do you legally force another person without their
signature or permission to indemnify another person? I must be missing
something here because if I had this power, I'd designate my neighbor to
indemnify my lender and then I'd default on my house mortgage.

I include a document called "Disposition Authorization" (see attached) with
my estate planning. It directs burial, cremation or other, names the person
who should receive the remains, what type of disposition is desired, and
hold harmless for the funeral home.

Just curious what all of you do regarding education of or documents for
estate planning clients regarding disposal of their bodies?
