These deadlines have changed since COVID.  Check the county you are filing for the new deadlines due to COVID orders.
In King, it is now 14 days’ notice.  If you are mailing notices, add 3 days to that.

PICKING A HEARING DATE: The Ex Parte Department calendars have limited spaces available. Prior to filing this notice, you must visit https://kingcounty.gov/courts/clerk/calendars.aspx to find an available court date. If you schedule a motion on a calendar that is designated for a different case type, or in certain cases without confirming availability, you will be contacted and will be required to reschedule your hearing. In some cases, you may also need to obtain a Court Order setting the hearing date. File this form first to reserve your hearing date. You must pick an available date that is at least:

·        Nine (9) Calendar days after filing for most civil matters (see Emergency Order 18 (modifying LCR 7(b)), LCR 40.1).

·        Fourteen (14) calendar days after filing for most adoption, probate, and guardianship matters (see LCR(s) 93.04, 98.20, 98.14, 98.16, and 98.20).

Subject: [WSBAPT] notice of hearing to probate copy of will

I need to send to heirs – beneficiaries in a will a motion to probate a copy of the will.  Can’t for several reasons get a TEDRA.
I see in 11.68.041 that a notice for nonintervention powers (which this also will be) takes a 10 day notice.
Anyone think a longer notice is required for this?
