Hello,

I'm looking for some help on finding the requirements of executing a Power of Attorney prior to the Uniform POA Act. Let's suppose there is a power of attorney from early 2000's that was notarized but the photocopy did not pick up the "raised" notary seal. If banks will not accept a copy of the POA because the seal is not legible, and the original cannot be located, is there recourse to pursue a claim against the bank? Thanks for your help.

Best,
Nick
