[WSBAPT] Beneficiary in Jail

Paul,

I have an incarcerated beneficiary in an estate I am working on, and the incarcerated beneficiary appointed an agent under a power of attorney, and instructed me to provide any distributions to her agent, so that the agent could provide beneficiary with funds in small chunks, because she said if she received a large lump sum into her prison account, it would be applied automatically toward restitution costs or something along those lines.

I would be interested to know if this violates any laws of which I am not aware. It definitely seems to work out better for the beneficiary.
