[WSBAPT] Community Property Agreement

HC - Surviving spouse dealing with Schwab.

Community Property agreement has been recorded with county, certified copy provided to Schwab.
Schwab indicates that they will not honor this document without a Court Order.

Anyone run into this before? Best course of action simply to file an "estate" and go get a Court Order confirming heirship in surviving spouse? Open a probate and get surviving spouse appointed as Personal Representative pursuant to the CPA? Argue with Schwab or their legal department more?

Thoughts appreciated.
