The only way I know of is to e-mail it to them and have them go to the US Embassy to get it notarized. It would then need to be overnighted back. We have done a couple of these this way in the past.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Client vacationing in Norway - needs Immediate Durable Power of Attorney

Hello,

A client who is vacationing in Norway and selling his house here wants his wife here to be able to sign for him, but he did not execute an immediate POA before he left. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to handle this?

Thank you.
Best,
Sandy
