[WSBAPT] Client vacationing in Norway - needs Immediate Durable Power of Attorney

Depending on where he is in Norway he might be able to go to a US consulate
or the US embassy and get a power of attorney notarized. Then it would need
to be send back by DHL. Be sure and use a Special Power of Attorney so the
title company will accept it.

Hello,

 

A client who is vacationing in Norway and selling his house here wants his
wife here to be able to sign for him, but he did not execute an immediate
POA before he left. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to handle this?
