Just last week I heard Commissioner Judson tell the parties in front of him that the minor, when he is 18, will need to bring an order into court to unblock funds, that there are forms on line for the minor to do this, and "it is really easy."

Subject: [WSBAPT] Mnor's Blocked Accounts

I have heard commissioners approving deposits to blocked accounts for minors allow withdrawal / disbursement upon submitting proof of attaining age 18; and on other occasions, the commissioners have required (in the process of crafting the order approving deposits to blocked accounts) that the individual file a motion and make a court appearance for an order directing the bank / custodian to release the funds. What is the criteria or your experience in crafting the order for deposit to a minor's account?
