[SPAM] Re: [WSBAPT] Can restate two old out-of-state SepProp RLTs into a new joint Washington RLT so WA residence doesn't have to be retitled?

How about adding recitals that state the grantors cancel their prior RLTs
and each authorizes the assets to be transferred to a New Washington RLT?
That might be cleaner although I cannot see why a restatement might not
work.

How about Wills and a community property agreement. I am guessing they
may want to equalize their estates if they haven married a long time with
the same children.

My 2 cents.

Sirs/Madams:

Recently acquired clients are a married couple in their 70s with old,
separate RLT plans executed in Illinois. Is there general agreement that I
cannot restate their two separate RLTs as a new joint WA RLT? In other
words, no way I can move their WA residence (1/2 owned in each current
RLT) into the new restatement without having them sign new transfer deeds?

Thanks for your insights.
