[Vision2020] House Republicans Are Trying to Defund the Capitol Police

Gary,

For the "shellacking" in the "upcoming midterms" are you referring to the
elections 15 months from now?  Irrespective of time frame and narrative(s)
du jour, you're not going very out on a limb anyway considering that
Republicans have election odds stacked in their favor due to #1) their
recent passing of voter suppression bills targeting inner city minorities,
#2) their typical redistricting / gerrymandering shenanigans carving out
safe districts for themselves, and for the trifecta and most significantly
#3) over the past 80 years, the party not holding power of the White House
has mid-term gains an average of 26 House Seats and 4 Senate Seats.
