[Vision2020] Four engineers were arguing . . .

There is an Army sequel to this tale.

It goes something like . . .

There were three Army surgeons discussing who was easiest to operate on; a sergeant first class, a first sergeant, or a sergeant-major.

One surgeon states, "Sergeant first classes are easiest to operate on. They are so military. Their parts are numbered. Take them out by the numbers and put them in by the numbers."

The next surgeon claims, "First sergeants are easiest to operate on. They are so slick. Their parts slide out and slide in."

The third surgeon quips, "Sergeant-majors are clearly the easiest to operate on. They only have two moving parts . . . and they are interchangeable."

He went on saying look at the human body, it's a marvel of engineering with all the levers and joints. He said we can't build a machine that is capable of as much beauty in motion as a ballerina.

He went on to say none of the motion would be possible without the amazing chemical processes that take in food and convert it to energy to move muscles and control it all with electro/chemical processes that operate the nerves and brain.
