PRESS RELEASE
City of Moscow Police Department Participates in Impaired Driving Patrol

Month 11, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) - The City of Moscow Police Department, in conjunction with agencies throughout the state, is focusing efforts to eliminate alcohol related motor vehicle fatalities and serious injuries through emphasis patrols between March 14th and March 22nd, 2015. The goals of this patrol are to reduce the number of individuals driving under the influence and eliminate traffic fatalities on Idaho roadways.

The results of drinking and driving are often tragic. Please consider the risks to yourself, your loved ones, and to other motorists. If your plans will involve alcohol, please designate a sober driver.

If you see a drunk driver or suspect a drunk driver please contact the nearest law enforcement agency.

Remember, your seatbelt represents your best chance for survival in a traffic accident, but only if it is used properly.
