The assumption that Doug Wilson is a cogent debater, an insightful thinker, a truth-teller, or even a Christian pastor in the sense that the words "Christian" and "pastor" have historically been understood is, indeed, a ridiculous one. Thus, Rose's and Tom's information here should come as no surprise. And if it weren't for the damage done to the Gospel, the post-election prevaricating and sputtering from the Boys' Club will be amusing and full of predictably preening belligerence.
The thing is, I just somehow refuse to laugh. But I'll go to the polls Tuesday and vote for Nancy Chaney, hoping that the Pompous One's sputtering will have to do with her victory that night.
