<Anyone out there want to attempt to advance the argument that smoking dope doesn't make you dumber?>

It certainly doesn't make you smarter. But this could be a chicken & egg situation on a couple of different levels.

Anyone out there want to attempt to advance the argument that smoking dope doesn't make you dumber?

During the course of this class (or is it the "class of this course") you will be trained in the art of creative bongery.
Basic training aids

In addition to the aid illustrated above, students are encouraged to procure (for familiarization and training purposes) . . .

"Wildwood Weed"http://www.tomandrodna.com/songs/Wildwood_Weed_Jim_Stafford.mp3

Group projects will be assigned. As such, students are reminded . . .
"Don't Bogart that Joint"http://www.tomandrodna.com/songs/Dont_Bogart_That_Joint.mp3

And before you become critical of my concept of "community concern", I have one thing to say,

"Let It All Hang Out"http://www.tomandrodna.com/songs/Let_It_All_Hang_Out.mp3

Seeya 'round town, Moscow, because . . .

Marijuana training? If you already know how to smoke a joint, can you just go to the bong sessions?

In all seriousness, who and what are they training?

Presenters + Training Information:

MONTE STILES

Monte Stiles served for 28 years as a state and federal drug prosecutor. For the last 24 years, he was the Assistant United States Attorney in charge of
the federal Organized Crime/Drug Enforcement Task Force. In the spring of 2011, Monte left the US Attorney's Office in order to devote his full attention to drug education, prevention, and motivational speaking.

Monte's presentation will cover the history of drug legalization in the United States and Idaho, the national pro-drug lobbying organizations responsible
for this trend, and the social, economic and legal consequences of legalization. Common misconceptions of legalization will be discussed, along with ways to educate communities on the subject.

JEFF RAY

Jeff Ray serves as public information officer for the Idaho Department of Correction. Prior to joining the department in 2006, Jeff worked as an investigative
reporter and anchor for 25 years in Seattle, Portland, Spokane and Boise. Aside from his work as a PIO, Jeff teaches leaders in both the public and private sector how to use the news media to advance their organizations' interests.

Jeff begins his presentations by showing examples he's collected over the years of people succeeding and failing while in the glare of the media spotlight.
Then, he breaks down the soundbites and explains the tactics that successful communicators use to deliver their messages effectively. For those feeling bold, Jeff will conduct mock interviews and give participants a chance to practice their newly acquired
 skills.
