Just as an aside, why do you think the people who were, in effect, counter protesting were "in mean spirit", and why do you assume that their express purpose was "to intimidate"?  Carrying a gun in public seems like an elegant counter protest to an anti-gun protest.  They were simply exercising their second amendment rights.  Much better than making signs, getting bullhorns, chanting slogans, and so forth, in my opinion.

I believe that's what Wayne was referring to when he was talking about the protesters being "worried and afraid".  Wearing a gun on your hip is not meant to be taken as a threat.

I cannot believe you just equated people who in mean spirit brought guns with the express purpose to intimidate to what was essentially a peace rally to people suffering under a history of racist bigotry. 
Have you no decency?  

"I'm a bit puzzled by someone really "worried and afraid" when others freely exercise their Constitutional rights.

It reminds me of when I was living in Georgia and the whites were "worried and afraid" about the blacks, and wondered why the 13th Amendment was passed!
