Darrell, I recall that.  But, it wasn't anything to do with people on V2020
as Paul stated, or with the "Intoleristas."  My understanding was that it
was something done at the Co-Op by a cashier who was extremely offended by
the Kirk's homophobia:

I don't know if you were on V2020 back then but Paul was and participated in
the discussion -- the Co-Op cashier incident wasn't anything at all to do
with "conflict people on this list had with Doug" and by all reports, it was
the action of a single person.

Not seeking to take any sides in this discussion. 

 

 As a point of clarification there was an ORGANIZED boycott against CC
affiliated businesses.  It wasn't simply personal.  A group of people were
passing out a list of CC affiliated businesses to avoid shopping at.  I saw
a copy of this list when I was working for the Moscow Chamber.  

 

CC may have maintained a similar list of places not to shop-if they did I
never saw that list.

 

IMO with the many CC related things happening at that time neither of the
two sides came off smelling like a rose.

What a selective memory you have, Paul!!!  Actually, what started the whole
boycott thing was Christ Church members boycotting local businesses with
which they disagreed.  That went on for years before there was any
discussion of personal conscientious spending decisions by some as opposed
to the organized boycotts by Christ Church.  And, that history was rehashed
for you - you participated in it - so you're not ignorant of the background.
