Thank you, Mayor Chaney, for setting the record straight.

Certainly everyone that has attended and participated in Farmers' Market, in both configurations, has developed their own opinions and preferences. I am just as certain that the final decision will reflect a careful and encompassing review by our city council of those expressed preferences.

Thanks again.

Circumstances have added some bumps to what might otherwise have been a smoother process, but none of us wants to derail a best outcome, whatever that turns out to be.

Some of us--myself included--have also heard some negative remarks from vendors and downtown businesses, and want to be cautious and respectful in addresing those. Unfortunately, cancellation of the July 2 City Council meeting coincided with the originally-intended move off of Main Street, even as members of the public seem to prefer having the Market there.

Please don't jump to conclusions based on outside references to my supposed perspective.

And, since I was downtown anyhow, I dropped into a few stores I normally don't frequent; found a pair of socks at Hyperspud, a book at Bookpeople for my grandson, and a pair of pants at StormCellar....also discovered I'd sold a piece of art from my Howard Huges Video show from ArtWalk. Wonderful day!! Huzzah, Moscow, Heart of the Arts!
