<p>We have in common our love for Moscow Farmers Market and Moscow's vibrant downtown business community. None of us wants to damage either. Circumstances have added some bumps to what might otherwise have been a smoother process, but none of us wants to derail
a best outcome, whatever that turns out to be. </p>

<p>Subsequent to what was promoted as a temporary move for the duration of construction in the Jackson Street lot, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the public. Some of us--myself included--have also heard some negative remarks from vendors
and downtown businesses, and want to be cautious and respectful in addresing those. Unfortunately, cancellation of the July 2 City Council meeting coincided with the originally-intended move off of Main Street, even as members of the public seem to prefer
having the Market there.</p>

<p>As Council consensus supports, it seems reasonable to leave the Market where it is for now, until Moscow Arts Commission can host a public input session on July 10, comment cards can be tabulated, and the City Council can discuss the matter publicly on July
16. Please don't jump to conclusions based on outside references to my supposed perspective.</p>

As willing as you are to openly discuss Mayor Chaney's perspective, concerning the location and operation of Moscow's Farmers' Market, what is your perspective?<br>

Do you support adopting the current (albeit temporary) Farmers' Market concept of blocking off Main Street between Third and Fifth Streets, thus reducing/eliminating the intrusion of vehicular traffic . . . or not?<br>
