Good point Scott, especially about the strategy and switch to moderation in the general election. I think it is interesting that the last few elections -- back to at least Clinton but likely much further -- were won by folks who were not necessarily the better candidate but by folks who ran the better campaign. Romney has lost a grip on who he is and is running -- so far -- a bad campaign. The Ryan selection was a bad choice.
