Sorry, Joe, the Bible does not say that man and the animals were
created at the same time.

In Genesis 2:24-25 God created the animals first, then in vs. 26-27
he created man, both male and female.

However, in the other creation account, in Genesis 2:7, 18-19, the
LORD God made a man first (out of the ground or soil); then he made
the animals. Last of all he made a woman out of the man's rib, vs.
21-23.

But fundamentalists don't like what the Bible actually says so they
pervert the text to make it appear that the LORD God had already made
the animals before the man. I'm referring to doctored versions like
the New International Version (NIV), the best-selling Bible in the USA.

So not only do creationists screw up what science has learned, they
also screw up the Bible.

...
One common fallacy used by creationists is the fallacy of false dilemma,
that there are only two options: evolution theory, which is
atheistic, and
creation theory. It is also worth noting that the claim that God
exists and
created the world is not at all inconsistent with the theory of
evolution.
Of course, the claim that God created man and all the animals AT THE
SAME
TIME is inconsistent with evolution theory. But the fossil record is
pretty
clear on the implausibility of this claim.
