20 Years of Service to City Recognized

Moscow, Idaho - Roger Blanchard, Parks/Facilities Manager is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service to the City of Moscow. To celebrate Blanchard's tenure a reception will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 206 E Third Street, on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The public is invited to join the event and wish Blanchard well in his future endeavors.

Blanchard's time with the City includes a myriad of notable accomplishments achieved through the Parks and Recreation Department. From assisting in bringing online and managing 20 new facilities to helping establish new parks and trails systems and connections, Blanchard is most proud of his work with the Community Forestry Program, helping to establish east/west trail connections and development of the Berman Creekside and Anderson/Frontier Parks.
