I think what we need from a discussion perspective is standard internet 
forum software, complete with multiple topics, avatars, signatures, 
smileys, and "pwned" pics.  I wish usenet discussion boards weren't out 
of vogue.  They had the best interface for truly threaded discussions 
before the spammers found them.
