[Vision2020] The Bouma bashing

I don't agree with Dan that negative comments are off-limits, if they are factually based, as Tom has pointed out several instances.  

I think it would be interesting to have people at public forums grill Bouma about some of the asinine things he said during the primary like some of the stuff he considers to be important issues.  Part of Bouma's primary victory was due to votes against Schroeder and his water and septic stands in the last two years.  Schroeder last contact with his base and gave into special interests.  He looked like a cheap whore.


I suspect that Gresham Bouma is silent on the Locksa exchange because he is all for it -- no more federal land acquisition and do everything to help businesses, regardless, even the slimiest such as Blixseth's various enterprises.  Some one needs to call Bouma out in a public forum when the LMT and DN are present.  Many of those that supported him in the primary are dead set against the Locksa exchange, even in his own close neighborhood.

  The two BIGGEST issues on the local radar are . . .
   
  1 - Exxon's application to use Highway 12 for transporting extremely oversized cargo.
   
  2 - The Upper Lochsa land exchange.
   
  I may not be running for public office (a venture I will NEVER attempt).  However, I do consider myself to be well informed in these matters.
   
  If I were running for public office, I would make it my priority to attend these meetings and pose serious questions to those "in the know", so that I could develop an educated opinion and discussion these items with my constituents.
   
  Local people have SERIOUS attitudes concerning these items.  As such, I would make it my business to become "in the know".
