Accident involving a Valley Transit Bus

 

Moscow, Idaho - On Friday, January 22, 2010 at about 9:55 a.m. Moscow
Police responded to a traffic accident involving a Valley Transit Bus
and a private vehicle.   A PT Cruiser driven by Crystal Presnell ran the
stop sign at the intersection of Maybelle Street and Blaine Street
colliding with the Valley Transit Bus.  A passenger on the bus was taken
to Gritman Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.  

 

Moscow Volunteer Fire Department personnel used the Jaws of Life to
remove Presnell from her car. She was taken to Gritman Medical Center
for evaluation and treatment.  Presnell was issued a citation for
inattentive driving.  

 

Damage to both vehicles required them to be towed from the scene.
