Greetings Visonaires -
The US Senate voted today on . . .
On Cloture on the Motion to Proceed (Upon Reconsideration Motion to Invoke
Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to S. 3217)
Rejected 57-41, 2 not voting (3/5 required)
Just what is Senate Bill 3217 you ask . . .
----------------
Senate Bill 3217 - Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010
An original bill to promote the financial stability of the United States
by improving accountability and transparency in the financial system, to
end "too big to fail", to protect the American taxpayer by ending
bailouts, to protect consumers from abusive financial services practices,
and for other purposes.
----------------
The cloture of this bill, having been rejected, makes it vulnerable to
filibuster by the Republicans.
Both Senator Crapo and Senator Risch voted against cloture on the motion
to proceed.

Well . . . so much for holding Wall Street accountable.
