[Vision2020] Deary Teens Sentenced

Sunil inquires and infers:

"How much time should they [elected officials] spend 'informing' you? I
suppose I'd prefer them to be doing that than their jobs...I don't think
it's their job to spend their time informing you."

Would you then, Sunil, prefer the alternative . . . an uninformed public
drawing their own conclusions and acting on their own suspicions?

Sunil continues . . .

"If the press has questions, Bill [County Prosecuting Attorney Bill
Thompson] usually answers them. Are you saying he didn't do that here?"

I do not recall reading or hearing any statement by either Bill Thompson
or Lewis County Magistrate Stephen Calhoun that commenced with the words
"This punishment was imposed because . . . "

However, I do recall reading, from the daily News article, . . .

"Latah County Prosecuting Attorney Bill Thompson asked for a lesser
sentencing of placing the two boys within the Department of Juvenile
Correction program where they could obtain therapy and live in a
group-home setting."

It seems that Judge Calhoun did not care to let the boys off as easy as
Bill Thompson.

Why bother paying for a defense attorney if your prosecutor is Bill Thompson?

(I just know that the previous statement is going to cause whiplash and
carpal tunnel syndrome as y'all dash at lightening speed to fire off a
scathing response. I only have one thing to say, in that case, . . .
A**HOLE and SHI*HEAD are not hyphenated words)
