Merriam-Webster, New Collegiate Dictionary 1977
Socialism- any of a various economic and political theories advocating collective or government ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.
Communism- same as above but includes private property
National Socialism- totalitarian principle of government, state cointrol of all industry, predominance of groups assumed to be racially superior, and supremacy of the fehrer
Fascism- a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation and forceable suppression of the opposition.
These are all left wing groups that advocate big government. The right on the other hand advocate limited government, freedom of the individual and free markets(Austrian) Economics. If you want to include on the right a wingnut group, it would be the Anarchists, who advocate no government.
