Why don't we as a nation just remove the drinking age for alcohol and end
its continued glorification? What if older teenagers and younger 20
something folks were not so worried about partying and proving one can
drink? Our national media glorifies the coming of age leading to
unfortunate incidents like this one or the two students going through the
glass. Anybody who has raised teenagers, or will admit they were once
rebellious teenagers knows that the easiest way to attract a teen to
something is to* ban* it, are we as a society so dumb to not see this?
Time to admit that MADD prohibition ideas does not work, the national
drinking age law is just about as effective as US immigration policy, and
move on to raising healthy teenagers and adults who aren't lured to acts of
stupidity because the act is banned.
BTW, way to go Vandal Football!!!! See dropping them to the Big Sky is
not the answer to their woes, good coaches and good recruits are!
