Let me preface this posting with an apology to Sam Scripter.
I apologize, sam, for my flippant comment regarding your inquiry into the
political divide of our state legislature. I should have known better.
That said . . .
"52 to 18" is more than a simple ratio in our state legislature. It is a
theme.
Simply look at (and listen to) some key votes during this year's session.

This presents a very interesting question . . .
When the health care bill passes the US Senate (and it will), along with
the "opt out" option for the individual states, will the votes cast by
members of the Idaho House and Senate represent their consciences, the
will of their constituents, or the "party line"?
