You are very right, Tom, I should have counted the "R's" and the "D's"
on the webpage with the thumbnail photos.

I expressed myself very inadequately in my previous posting.

What caught my interest was the repeated pair of numbers, 52-18,
both for R's and D's, and for Men and Women, in the Idaho House of
Representatives. 52-18 R's and D's, and 52-18 Men and Women!!!

So I took your prompt and did count the R's and the D's, by gender.

Now I have a new interesting count:

Women in the Idaho House of Representatives

    R = 7     D = 11

Men in the Idaho House of Representatives

    R = 45   D = 7

If the above pair of paired numbers represents
the political electivity of Idaho House candidates
then more Women Dems need to run for the House
to mollify the extreme dominance by R's, because
apparently the men who are Dems do not have the
inclination to run for the Idaho House and/or are
incapable of winning? But can the women D's
win against men R's?

Or, maybe the pair of paired numbers, 52-18, above
are just spurious, odd numbers?

It's not the same for the Idaho Senate:

Women in the Idaho Senate

   R's = 5      D's  = 3

Men in the Idaho Senate

    R's = 23    D's =  4

So much for the numbers . . .

Oh; if we have 36 legislative districts,
then why are there only 35 Senators
listed on the website?

MoscowSam I am, leaving this oddity . . .
