[Vision2020] Vision2020 Digest, Vol 41, Issue 53

Oooohhhhh, so sorrrry Chuck. Let me re-phrase.

By serving 5 months of a 5-15yr sentence for having the chicken shit nerve to pull out a gun and strip someone of their life from their family then taking a bargain basement deal that changes the definition in a legal sense; you're right, he didn't get away with murder.

He got away with killing a guy.

Very clear now....Thanks.

Maybe we should all carry guns around in case we have a small dispute to settle and are too weak to use our fist or take a hit.

Hell, drunk's kill completely innocent and unsuspecting drivers all the time and seem to serve out their time for IN-voluntary murder. What programs are available for them to get off with only 5 months as this case of VOLUNTARY MURDER?

Webster's definition (hint: not the same as a lawyer's)

Main Entry: 1mur·der
Pronunciation: \ˈmər-dər\
Function: noun
Etymology: partly from Middle English murther, from Old English morthor; partly from Middle English murdre, from Anglo-French, of Germanic origin; akin to Old English morthor; akin to Old High German mord murder, Latin mort-, mors death, mori to die, mortuus dead, Greek brotos mortal
Date: before 12th century
1 : the crime of unlawfully killing a person
2 a : something very difficult or dangerous <the traffic was murder> b : something outrageous or blameworthy <getting away with murder>
