*Moscow Food Co-op Donates $440.60 to Buy Local Moscow*

Buy Local Moscow received $440.60 from the Moscow Food Co-op's "A Dime
in Time" community donation program.

The Co-op's "A Dime in Time" program was created to support local,
non-profit organizations. Co-op shoppers currently receive a 10-cent
discount when they use their own bags or coffee cups. Co-op customers
now have the option to donate those dimes to the organization selected
as that month's recipient.

In April shoppers donated 4,406 dimes to the Buy Local Moscow, a
non-profit that works to build a sustainable Moscow economy by
supporting and promoting locally-owned businesses in our community. Buy
Local Moscow currently has 86 members, all locally-owned, independent
businesses.

Future recipients include Rendezvous in Moscow Kids Art Program in May.

Local groups interested in being selected to receive future awards can
submit a grant application found on the Co-op's website
(_www.moscowfood.coop <http://www.moscowfood.coop/>_). A committee made
up of two Co-op board members, two Co-op staff members, and two Co-op
customer members will review the applications and select recipients each
quarter.

The Co-op is located at 121 East Fifth Street in downtown Moscow.
