[Vision2020] And the evidence for this is...

Kai,

And this is just how mistrust in government occurs! On one hand we
have a Mayor that doesn't want PUBLIC meetings photographed and on the
other hand we have two council members trying an end run around
the open records laws. And then we had the shenanigans where each one
could vote on the other getting PUBLIC MONEY to hire outside legal
council!

Maybe, truly, the Mayor doesn't know what she's doing, well then it's
time to look for a new mayor. OR is she trying to hide something?
Maybe truly, the two councilmen don't understand that public records
include those that are on their private e-mails when they are
conducting city business. OR are they trying to hide something?

Now, there are a few choices we can make. Suck it up and assume that
this is the best we can get for local government; sue them; request
that the state and/or federal government investigate them;
or toss them to the curb either by recall or at election time.
Personally, I prefer the recall option or the investigation by a
higher governmental body. I don't want them to be able to say, "Oh
well, I lost
an election", I want them to be tossed out.
