[Vision2020] UI Soils Team

The PSES Department usually does a matching of funds for the Soils team to be able to go to the National Contest. This year due to the budget cut backs there will be no matching fund. The contest is in Missouri at the end of March. They need to come up with about $3000. The team will do work to raise money. Anyone interested in having them do something can contact my wife, Anita Falen at 885-7554. I presented this to the folks at the AARP meeting today. Laura Miller will have them remove a large tree limb that the wind blew down. Kirk Rush, one of our Grange members and former Moscow high Ag Instructor has donated $100 and Bob Carver has donated $25. Maynard Fosberg will donate something. The Graduates Students Office will pay for the travel of the Graduate Student who is the Coach. ASUI may contribute something but the amount is unknown. Anything anyone could do to help would be greatly appreciated.
