Jefferson Street Project Update

 

Moscow, Idaho - The City of Moscow's excavation and paving overlay
project on Jefferson Street from 3rd Street to 6th Street has uncovered
some unexpected problems in the quality of the rock base of the street
and these problems need to be addressed before the paving project can
proceed.  To properly repair the street the base must be excavated and
reconstructed before the overlay of asphalt can be completed.

 

The revised timeline for completion of Jefferson Street is several weeks
with an expected completion date of September 11.

 

The City of Moscow thanks our citizens for their patience as this and
other road projects are being completed.  For more information on this
